As a successful talent development professional, Susan has led efforts to promote learning and to ensure leadership bench-strength in for-profit, nonprofit, and globally diverse organizations. She has helped executives create and sustain the unique cultures that support the missions and objectives of their firms.
As Director of Learning and Development or Chief Learning Officer, Susan has helped organizations create and implement their leadership development strategies in order to ensure the emergence of leadership as it is needed to successfully accomplish business objectives. With over thirty years of experience, she has worked for firms in financial services (Wellington Management, Fidelity Investments, Bank Boston), hi-tech (Teradyn, DEC), management consulting (Boston Consulting Group) and higher education (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, African Rural University). In a number of these positions, her responsibility crossed the globe and she has worked in many different geographies and cultures. Recently she lived for over a year in western Uganda leading the process to start up a rural university for women.
